Boxer Puppy Breeders

Conscientious Boxer Puppy Breeders are greatly concerned about the lives of the puppies they are going to sell, and they do not sell their Boxers without scanning their potential clients. True breeders work toward betterment of the breed’s genetic potential on a universal scale, so they do their best to exclude the possibility that their puppies might get involved in doubtful projects. However, there are lots of irresponsible dollar-oriented breeders, to whom well-being of their dogs is but the last thing to think about.

True Boxer Puppy Breeders are very open about their puppies with their potential clients. They share all sorts of information with buyers, telling them about the breed’s basic characteristics, its history, main health issues and so forth. They appreciate it when their clients express interest in various related topics asking numerous questions about how to properly care for the dog or what kind of activity this particular breed is intended for. Breeders expect the same attitude on their clients’ side. True breeders are interested in their clients’ personality, because this is likely to become a decisive factor in the dog’s life. Buyers must expect breeders to ask questions about their families and the attitude of each family member toward dogs.

Boxers are boisterous and vivacious by nature. They are relatively easy to train, but can be willful and stubborn at times, which can pose serious difficulties for inexperienced dog owners. Good breeders are always pleased to get young dog lovers ready for the hardships of dog ownership. If this breed is too hard for some person to handle, Boxer Puppy Breeders may advice him or her to choose another breed, which would be easier for him or her to deal with. Conscientious breeders never sell their dogs randomly, and they do not consider dog breeding as a source of income.

Boxers originated in Germany, at the end of the 19th century. They descended from the Brabanter Bullenbeisser, a Mollosser-type dog, which is non-existent today. The Boxer has inherited his toughness and self-assured disposition. Modern Boxers are very agile and can be used in services. They make good guardians, and they are naturally protective around their loved ones and property. If you ask a Boxer Puppy Breeder about the dog’s history, he or she will give you detailed information on the breed’s past, so that you will better understand the breed’s natural qualities and behavior.

Boxers are medium-sized and well-muscled dogs, their wither height ranging from 21 to 25 inches. This is a short-coated dog, and its coat comes in two basic colors: fawn and brindle. Many dogs have white markings on the chest and belly, sometimes extending to the throat and face. However, white should not cover more than one third of the coat. White Boxers are not valuable as conformation dogs, and they are not recognized. Boxer Puppy Breeders do not usually talk about white Boxers as candidates for inclusion in any serious breeding project, since white species have a high occurrence of hearing problems or deafness.
